With a career that has seen it’s fair share of controversy she has released dozens of number 1 hits around the world (45 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart alone) and amassed over 300 million record sales worldwide, making her the best selling female recording artist and fourth best-selling music artist of all time. The total number of awards and world records held by Madonna is remarkable, as of April 2012 she held 20 different world records.

Madonna has recorded 13 studio albums since her debut album Madonna released in 1983 and released her latest album Rebel Heart in March of 2015.
