In what appears to be a return to form for Ridley Scott and in a possible oscar worthy role for Matt Damon, the hottest film in cinemas at the moment is The Martian, a science fiction film based on the Novel by Andy Weir. The film follows Matt Damon's character who has been stranded on Mars and must survive alone with limited supplies in hope that he will be rescued.

Ray Douglas Bradbury (August 22, 1920 – June 5, 2012) was an American fantasy, science fiction, horror and mystery fiction author. Best known for his dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 (1953) and for the science fiction and horror stories gathered together as The Martian Chronicles (1950) and The Illustrated Man (1951), Bradbury was one of the most celebrated 20th- and 21st-century American genre writers. He wrote and consulted on many screenplays and television scripts, including Moby Dick and It Came from Outer Space.
