Al Pacino turns 74 today and we have a timeline to celebrate

On the day Al Pacino turns 74 we take a look back at some of the movies that made him one of the most popular actors of his generation.
Debut and Early Years
Pacino’s debut to the big screen came in 1969 with a minor part in Me, Natalie. His first major role and critical acclaim would come 3 years later when he played Michael Corleone in The Godfather. He appeared in a total of 9 movies during the 70’s including The Godfather, Serpico, The Godfather Part II, and Dog Day Afternoon.
The 80’s
Pacino was only in 5 films during the 80’s, however they did include one of his most famous performances, as Tony Montanna in the 1983 film Scarface
The 90’s
In 1992 Al Pacino won his first (and only) Oscar for For Best Actor for his role in the film Scent of a Women. He starred in a total of 14 films during the 90’s including The final part of the Godfather trilogy, Carlito’s Way, The Devils Advocate, and Heat (where he starred alongside Robert De Niro)
Recent Years
From 2000 to the present day Pacino has appeared in another 13 movies with more due for release in the next couple of years.
